Tamarindo Costa Rica - The town is located on the Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the Province of Guanacaste. The place is very popular, more and more foreigners are moving here to find a piece of paradise.
Tamarindo is also popular for fishing villages which are exploding all over the place. North Pacific has some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Costa Rica. They are always sunny and huge, with endless coves and pristine shorelines just a short walk away from one another.

horseback riding, and visit the nearby wildlife refuge of Diria, as well as the Marino Las Baulas National Park, where leatherback turtles come every summer to nest and breed.
Tamarindo’s beaches are large enough for those who are looking to find some peace and quiet, but for those who want to be where the action is, another favourite past time here is sportfishing, with record marlin, tuna and sailfish catches off the coast.
If you are a land loving traveller, golf is a popular option at the Hacienda Pinilla, one of the finest golf courses in Central America.
The town is very quite and colourful with plenty of local Tico flavour. Here you can find several bakeries, an outdoor vegetable market, an art gallery, pottery stores, a beauty spa and the town has more than 40 restaurants, bars and discos with cuisines to suit every palette. Easily accessible by bus, the best way to get to Tamarindo is to fly into the Liberia International Airport or if you are already in San Jose take the domestic flight to Tamarindo Domestic Airport which is just outside of town.
