Costa Rica Scuba Diving provides one of the best Scuba Diving Vacation in the world. Costa Rica Scuba Diving can be the ultimate adventure of a life time. At a typical Scuba Diving Location, you can expect average visibility is around 30 feet up to 80 feet at times. Depending on where you go you may see angel fish, occasional bull shark and tiger shark, dolphins, false killer whales, frog fish, many species of eels, great schools of grunt, schools containing thousands of cow-nosed rays, jacks, schools of Manta rays with wing spans up to 20 ft, octopus, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, stingrays, sea horses, starfish, yellowtails, white tip reef sharks and much more...

Most Costa Rica Scuba Diving Tours are within a 30min boat ride. Also offered are long-range dive trips to both the Bat Islands and Catalina. For the real adventurous and seasoned divers a 300 mile boat trip out to Cocos Island is possible. Most of visitors to Cocos Island are scuba divers serious enough about the sport to venture to the Island and usually sign up for a 10-12 day scuba safaris. Cocos Island is a great place for Scuba Dive, big encounters with whale sharks up to 35 feet long, hammerheads, humpback whales, Orcas, pilot whales, and mantas, which sometimes appear in groups of 500 at a time, are common.
